20+ Cranberry Drinks
I just love a good holiday drink. Bonus if they feature cranberries! If you’ve read my blog for long, you know cranberries are my favorite fruit. Maybe it’s the red color that goes so well with the season, or the fact they aren’t super sweet, or maybe it’s because they make me think of holiday dinners surrounded by the people I love. Whatever it is, cranberries pack a punch in my holiday dishes. But it doesn’t just stop there.
Their bright colors and cheery shape make them excellent garnishes, and they go well with other festive garnishes like cinnamon sticks or crystalized ginger. Their red color gives a festive tint for the Christmas holiday season. But you can start before then. Your guests will be just as happy if you serve cranberry drinks for Thanksgiving.
The tangy flavor can often off set a super sweet flavor, to balance things out. Cranberry juice and cranberries go well with other drinks like ginger beer, apple juice, or lemon lime soda. This list includes cranberry drinks that are non-alcoholic as well as those that can be served hot or cold. Most can be modified to include or exclude alcohol.
If cranberry juice is too tart for you, you can always start out with a sweeter blend, such as cran-apple or cran-raspberry.
So, I’ve collected over 20 of the best recipes for cranberry drinks and appetizers to make your holiday the best yet! Enjoy!
Holiday Drink with Cranberries:
So not only do people love the tart cranberry juice in their holiday beverages, they also love that pop of flavor in their holiday appetizers. I’m sure most of us know the standby recipe for cranberry meatballs. But there are so many other appetizers out there!
The pairings are endless. Cranberries go fabulously with cheeses like brie, and with herbs like rosemary.
It can also be a lifesaver when unexpected guests stop by. As long as you have crackers on hand, a block of cream cheese and some leftover cranberry sauce. I like to mix my sauce with some minced jarred jalapenos for some heat. This is one of the easiest cranberry sauce appetizers out there!
Most of the below recipes are for easy cranberry appetizers, but some are a bit more complex. Plenty to choose from!
