Last year, I wrote a very popular post about welcoming your overnight guests for the holiday season. This year I decided to expand on this idea and have it cover all your holiday guests. Whether they are little kids or adults, overnight or just dropping by, here are the essentials you need to make them feel at home. I try to cover all my bases and stock up early. My grocery cart was full before Thanksgiving! The truth of the matter though is that these should be year round essentials. So what are my secret weapons? Keep reading to find out!
5 More Ways To Welcome Guests
1. Kleenex® in every room.
Don’t you hate it when you are out somewhere and your eyes start watering, or worse yet— your about to sneeze? I hate to look for Kleenex®, and I never seem to have one on me. I have solved this issue by using these darling Kleenex® Perfect Fit canisters in every room. The size is perfect and I love that the seasonal designs fit in with my holiday decor!
2. Easy To Find TP
Another pet peeve of mine is being at someone’s house and not being able to locate toilet paper! Eek! I’m sure it’s happened to the best of us, but I don’t want to be the nosy nelly looking through cabinets in their bathrooms. I always keep extras out, and that way, I can see if we are getting low anyways. I stack them in a cute basket. For my guests I buy Cottonelle® Ultra Comfort Care. Cottonelle® Ultra Comfort Care Toilet Paper is ultra cushiony & ultra luxurious - perfect for pampering your guests.
3. Kleenex® Hand Towels
I’m loaded with so many other extra chores around the holidays, that the last thing I want to do is be washing tons of hand towels. No one likes a wet towel, and with guests coming and going, Kleenex® hand towels solve that problem!
4. Slippers and Fuzzy Socks for Guests
We are a no shoe inside family. In order to make guests feel at home, and to keep their toes nice and toasty, I keep a basket of fuzzy socks and slippers for them to wear while visiting. The slippers are perfect for overnight guests that might not have room in their luggage to pack theirs. They make an easy gift to give someone as well.
5. Viva® Paper Towels for all those holiday messes
I think Viva® Paper Towels are my #1 holiday necessity. From cleaning up spilled drinks, to serving Christmas goodies, I seem to be grabbing them every chance I get. I love that I can pick any size I need and that they are durable and cloth like. They truly tackle any job! My kiddos chocolate fingers were no match for a Viva® towel, even after these gooey peppermint brownies!
So what are you stocking up on this holiday season? What necessities do you think are essential for your guests? I’d love to hear what you’d add to the list, so leave me a comment!
