Everyone wants something for breakfast that is Fast, Affordable, Easy Clean up, Nutritional and oh wait—tastes yummy!
A few years ago, when I first became gluten free, this was a huge issue for me. I have 4 boys. I don’t have time to wash and chop fruit. I don’t want to clean a big bulky blender. I don’t want to buy something expensive to take room on my kitchen countertops.
I loved fruit smoothies. But I hated paying the price of them from the local coffee shops. One day, when I was shopping in the produce section, I discovered the secret to my successful easy peasy smoothie recipe. It’s Naked Juice! Have you ever heard of it? It’s fabulous to drink on its own, but it is even more superb in a smoothie.
The Naked Juice takes the place of me finding fresh fruit (especially during the winter months). For instance, a bottle of Blue Machine has 27 blueberries, 3 blackberries, 3 ⅓ apples and 1 banana. It’s also full of B vitamins, vitamin C & E as well as fiber.
Gone are the days of washing fruit, hoping to use it before it goes bad and paying horrendous prices for out of season fruits!
My recipe is simple!
For one smoothie (a large 12 oz cup easily)
Mix together the following:
½ cup Yogurt (I use Brown Cow Vanilla No Fat Brand)
¾ cup Naked Juice
¼ cup milk
Seriously. That is the recipe. I use a fork——YES, a fork to stir it up well!
I like to add the milk because it helps to get it thru a straw.
I know I said it takes 1 minute, but I lied. It usually only takes me 30 seconds.
I’ve made it so many times that I just eyeball my glass. No measurements for me.
Naked Juice comes in so many flavors. I usually go for the Blue machine or Red Machine. They have some that have added protein (from Soy & Whey) and some that have greens in them.
I love that I can have 2-3 open in my fridge and enjoy a different smoothie everyday. With no blender. No mess. and lots of extra time.
This is NOT a sponsored post. Naked Juice and I do not have a business relationship. It is simply something I love and adore and I want to share it with you, my lovely readers.
What about you? Is this the breakfast you’ve been looking for?

I have a smoothie almost every morning and it takes much longer than a minute because I have to drag out the blender and all the frozen fruit. More often than not, I have to rearrange the mixture and rearrange the mixture to get the blender to blend it smoothly. I've chopped up a few wooden spoons too. Splinters just add to the texture of the drink.
I can't wait to try this recipe. Putting Naked Juice on my grocery list.
