Where in the world did the month of June go? How are we almost to the end? This is just a quick post to let you know what I've been up to. Today I'm guest posting over at Uncommon Designs as part of the One Crafty Summer Tour. You can find my tutorial for a quick one hour quilt that will be perfect to lay on while you catch the Fourth of July Fireworks.
I haven't gotten much done this summer, but I did get that done, as well as this dresser. This is just a sneak peak that I will post soon of a dresser I redid with Miss Mustard Seed Paint.
For the most part I'm still dealing with this:
I have had so many nice emails, pm's and messages asking how I'm doing. I'm happy to report that my kidney function is good. I'm no longer in pain, but to be honest, I am just utterly exhausted. So if you notice that I'm not posting as much here or on social media, this is why. It's not that I don't want to---I do! I miss interacting with all of you. But somedays it is more important for me to cuddle up with the kiddos, or spend the energy I do have doing activities with them. I'm sure you understand.
Speaking of social media, my husband runs an instagram account for our two puppies. I'm not sure if I should feel insulted or not, since my dog has way more followers than me. Like 3x's the amount as me! He's at 1500! Holy wow! If you like cute dogs, feel free to follow him. He is pretty precious, if I do say so myself! You can follow him here: Buckley The Boston
