MULLED WINE

This mulled wine recipe is easy to make in a slow cooker. Featuring fresh oranges, apple slices and cinnamon it will be a crowd favorite!

Ingredients

For the Mulled Wine:

  • 2 750ml bottles of wine (or about 6 ½ cups if using a boxed wine)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 oranges sliced into small rounds
  • juice from 2 oranges
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 apples sliced in small circles like the oranges
  • 1 ½ tablespoon mulling spices

Instructions

To make the mulled wine:

  • Place the wine in a slow cooker.
  • Stir in the sugar, orange juice, and mulling spices.
  • Layer in the fruit and give a good stir. Place the lid on the slow cooker and set on low for 2-4 hours.
  • Strain before serving. Garnish with the fruit slices and cinnamon sticks.
  • ENJOY!
