Fall Home Decor To Bring Autumn Into Any Room

I am so excited to be sharing my home decor for Autumn with you on the "Festival of Fall" Tour being hosted by The Everyday Home and Sondra Lyn At Home. I wanted to challenge myself this fall and use ONLY items I had on hand. Boy was that a challenge! I'm so glad I did that though, because really, how many pumpkins, fake leaves and wreaths does one need? The only thing I ended up purchasing were a few fake pumpkins from Dollar Tree. Less than $5! So let's start the tour, shall we?

You might remember my dining room dressed up for Thanksgiving last year. I still have the same set up, but replaced the artwork with this antique single pane window.

Acorns inspired last year's wreath, and I used them again with this wreath I found earlier in year at the thrift store. The burlap bow tops it off.
Using pumpkins I already had on hand I stacked them to make a pumpkin topiary. I love the height that this gives, especially against the large window.
For the most part, I like to keep my home neutral and add pops of color as the seasons change. I find that makes it less expensive as we really only change out the decor (or re-use it like this year!).
This is another spot in the house that I decorated. The fold down table was refinished last year. The vase is from Ikea, sprayed with Mirror spray paint. The cutting board I found at a thrift store in Salt Lake City. The amber fluted bowl I've had for several years. It's filled with pinecones our boys collected in Alaska.
The white pumpkin is a Dollar Tree pumpkin, painted white.
I decided to keep my mantel very simple this year.

The frame I purchased from our local Habitat for Humanity a few months ago. I painted the glass to make a large chalkboard. I chalked in the "autumn days are here again" from a Lori Whitlock digital file I purchased last year. The wreath is hung by a simple dollar store sticky hook.
Even the wheat is from last year. The Owl was a TJ Maxx find (as was the vase) and the candle holder Target clearance. You probably spy my Command Hooks for a banner, I need to make one soon! Everything was all from years past, even the wheat!
The metallic owls and wreaths were also TJ Maxx finds. The glitter pumpkin was last year from Target.
I still have a crush on mercury glass, so I couldn't leave this little guy out.

I hope you've enjoyed these little touches of Autumn Decor. I'd love to hear how you are decorating this season! I will hopefully be decorating my porch again soon (darn Texas heat!) and will have a few more Fall & Halloween tutorials coming soon, so be sure to check back.
