Holiday Home Tour 2014 - The procrastinator's version

Major Hoff Takes A Wife Holiday Home Tour 2014. Part of the Procrastinators Holiday Blog Hop. Enjoy!

Remember last week, I was suppose to be on a home tour, and that so didn’t happen! I featured my friend Kris’s awesome house! Well, I was so excited when some other brilliant bloggers decided that it wasn’t too late and we should do a “Procrastinators Blog Tour”. Ummm, hello! YES! Sign me up. So a big round of applause to Kathy from Petticoat Junktion and Beth from Farm Fresh Vintage Finds for making all of this magic happen! Now, to make you laugh even more. I have 1 hour left before this post is due. To say I procrastinate….well, that’s an understatement. Anyhow, I’m glad I got my act together enough to bring you some of my house this year! The best part is that it is a hop, so you will be able to visit other wonderful homes right after mine. And the awesomeness doesn’t stop there! Nope. We have a fantastic giveaway going too! Two lucky winners!!! Someone will win a $50 gift card to Online Fabric Store and another lucky winner will win a $50 gift card to Farmhouse Decor Shop! I’m totally jealous! Today’s post will be very picture heavy. If you have questions, leave a comment and I’ll get back with ya (I love when y’all comment, it warms my heart!). So let’s get started!!!

  1. love your mantel hope it snows for you xx

  2. What a beautiful home! Your fireplace is my favorite part of the tour. Love the garlands. Thanks for sharing your home!

  3. Love the mantel decor and the vignette on the buffet.

  4. What is it they say, "Better late than never?" Love your decor, Sarah, especially that little ruffled garland on your mantel. And no way were you taking these photos late at night because they look wonderful! That Santa sign made me laugh out loud. And I'm in love with that little chest/desk in your hallway. You painted that, right? And the dining room is so pretty. I love how you changed up the sideboard from last week's tour! It was pretty then, but I love the "more" you have going on now.

    1. Oops, I'm a goober. Sara. Not Sarah. I know that. Coal in my stocking!

  5. Thank you for the beautiful Christmas tour!
    Merry Christmas :)

  6. Love a better-late-than-never tour! Wonderful!

  7. Beautiful! I want to do a vintage red tree next year and your fireplace mantel is GREAT inspiration. (I figured I should start planning now so I can get it done in time for next year :))

  9. Love it, especially the "Let It Snow" sign!

  10. I'm loving this Holiday Home Tour. Like to see how others decorate. The ribbon banner reminds me of the ribbon candy my mother always loved.

  12. I shared you everywhere but I couldn't find you on google+ Are you there?

  13. I love your mantle!!! It is so gorgeous! The burlap ribbon is my favorite part!! I also love all the lights and garland. It is definitely a focal point and I love it!! I also love the striped ribbon on your tree and the "Santa knows what you did last night" sign - too cute!! Never seen that before <3. I love how you decorated your bookcase too. Thank you for inviting us into your home, and thanks for the giveaway :) Merry Christmas < 3 πŸ’– πŸ’– πŸ’–

  14. I love all of the delightful touches you created in your home for Christmas! It is like there is a surprise everywhere you look! My favourite is how you decorated the cabinet/table behind the sofa!

  15. I love your home! So well done. And the mantle is so pretty. The burlap and string is such a great idea and looks great!
