A Plaid Country Christmas!
So I have a confession to make. I know I posted my Dining Room yesterday, but so far, that is the only room that has been decorated for the holidays. For real. My Mantel still has my autumn decorations on it. See, even bloggers live in the real world with the hustle and bustle of kiddos, laundry, dishes, laundry (did I mention laundry?). I was so excited to be a part of this tour, but in the end, I knew it would be better for my family if I didn’t try to decorate and shoot the house in a limited amount of time.
Besides, my kiddos would never forgive me if I put up the tree without them (and I don’t think I could bring myself to do that!). So while I was bawling/sobbing/having a panic attack planning this apology post, I had an idea. My friend Kris has a beautiful home. I mean stunning. And she goes all out for the holidays. I mean, ALL OUT. Girl has style my friends!
Did I mention she’s a photographer to? I asked if she wanted to be gracious (and amazing) and share her home with all of you lovely readers and she said yes!!!! Don’t we all love her so much now? So Kris has sat on the fence about becoming a blogger. I think after you see this post you are going to demand she starts one. Because once you see this house in all it’s Christmas glory, you are going to want more. I can guarantee you that. So without further ado, and with a million thank you’s that will never be enough, here is the lovely Plaid Country Christmas Tour!

Ms. C. - I think I got the stand from AntiqueFarmhouse.com. It was either there or Joss and Main - I know I ordered it on-line for sure, but I think it was AntiqueFarmhouse.
