The other day, I was thinking back to my very first Valentine’s Day as a young bride. I was so excited that I had someone so special to share it with, but it turns out the US Army decided we shouldn’t spend it together. HA! Isn’t that how it goes??!!!! My wonderful husband sent me the most beautiful bouquet of roses. It was such a thoughtful gesture while he was away. And let’s be honest - a flower delivery ANY time of the year is one of the best gifts. How awesome is it to open that door and see that cheerful bouquet of flowers?
When I was thinking about that 1st rose bouquet, I was reminded of how we celebrated with a date past the 14th of February. My husband and I still continued “to date” that year and I have so many fun memories of quirky, inexpensive things we did. It inspired me to recreate our list and to celebrate again this year. I’ve provided a free printable of these ideas, and I hope you will pick one every month to share with your special someone.
Start by sending your loved one a gorgeous bouquet from 1-800-FLOWERS.COM. To make it even easier on your wallet this Valentine’s Day, I’m sharing a 20% off savings code. 1-800-Flowers provided me with a stunning arrangement that I gifted to my sweet husband. It was nice to be able to turn the tables! The best part is that we both got to enjoy them. They made our kitchen smell amazing!
I loved that this Fields of Europe bouquet had my favorite Lillies and Gerber Daisies and the Pink and Red Roses!
What is your favorite idea on my list? Have you done them all?
