Nothing like a good old fashioned challenge to get me crafting! I was so excited when I received my package from Laura Kelly! Included were 1. The popcorn box 2. ribbons 3. stick on jewels 4. buttons from Laura Kelly Designs 5. Instructions, a piece of stationary and a pin from Cre8time.
I wanted my box to be really functional, so all 3 sides that I used can be utilized. The first side is the BOO side. It's so cute. I simply used a package of Modge Podge Papers that I found at my Michaels store and adhered it with good old Modge Podge decoupage paste. Wouldn't this side look so cute as a simple vase on a fireplace? Throw in some wheat, some mums, or some pretty fall flowers and you are set! I used the crystal jewels that Laura had sent on the middle "O"
The middle side is what the box will be used for. It says "Mama's Stash". Because it will be used for my stash of candy. I can't have gluten or nuts, so I'm limited in my candy. So basically any candy that the boys get that I can have can be transferred right into here. Hopefully they won't sneak it back! LOL! I used a mama peep decal from Laura's "Me and My Peeps Line". I added the ribbons with hot glue, as well as an assortment of buttons from Laura's Buttons (buttons galore).
The final side is the Yum side! In Case I have people over for a fall party, I could easily weight down the box and throw in some Fall themed, dipped and decorated Rice Krispy Treats on skewers. Easy Peasy.
Can you believe all of this came from ONE POPCORN BOX? How cool is that?
Hope you enjoyed it! Be sure to see the other popcorn projects as well as enter the rafflecopter!
Hope you all have a wonderful week and that you create something marvelous!
